Women Empowerment Groups & Support

Looking for a supportive space to connect, grow and empower yourself? Our women’s empowerment groups provide a welcoming community for female and female-identifying students to discuss important topics, share experiences and build confidence. Whether you’re seeking personal growth, leadership skills or a space to celebrate identity, there’s a group for you. Explore our resources and find the support you need on your journey.

  • The Women’s Center: Through education, empowerment and leadership programs, the Women’s Center at Montclair State University works to advance gender equity and inspire students to achieve their personal, academic and professional potential.
  • Queen’s Group: An empowerment and support space for all female, or female identifying students, that covers a wide variety of different topics, including but not limited to, relationships, leadership, finances, preparing for adulthood and different mental health related topics. No sign up required!
  • Worthy Women Discussion Group: An all-inclusive weekly women led discussion focusing on personal growth, goal setting and everything in between!
  • Mosaic Women: Mosaic Women is a support group where students who identify as Women of Color come together to share their experiences, affirm and celebrate one another and assist each other in obtaining their personal, interpersonal, academic and professional goals.
  • Becoming You: A group for students who want to improve their relationship with themselves. This relationship is often neglected yet it is the most important relationship in one’s life. Be a part of a group that allows you to discover your true value, inner resources and improve your self-confidence to reach your utmost potential. Join us to move forward in your journey on Becoming You; the person that you were meant to be.

Women in Sports

Celebrate Women’s History Month by supporting and showcasing the incredible talent of our women’s athletic teams! This March, catch a Montclair Women’s Lacrosse game or Montclair Women’s Softball game! Don’t forget to cheer on ALL of our women’s sports teams including Basketball, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Soccer, Swimming and Diving, Track and Field and Volleyball during the other seasons.
